This company was founded in London on November 30, 1860, under the name of the Al-Furat and Tigris Merchant Navigation Company, and the name “Ling” and its descendants have dominated it in Baghdad since the Ottoman era until now. All foreign companies have been mentioned, but when you ask about the “Beit Ling” Company, a lot is mentioned about it in the history of Baghdad, Iraq and foreign companies that worked in Baghdad.
